Very cool story Kolton. I'm glad you enjoyed doing the dunk tank, some people really enjoy it, other people don't. My advice is to not worry too much about what you think other people are thinking of you. Wear whatever kind of clothes make you comfortable - that might be a t-shirt and short, or jeans, or a long sleeve shirt, or fancy clothes, or even swim trunks. There's no right or wrong way to do this. Same with shoes, and socks. If you like wearing them, then wear them. If you're more comfortable without them, then take them off. There's no right or wrong way to do this, just do what feels right for you.
Also, good advice on running a dunk tank! I might add - putting a dunk tank on grass can have its own challenges. Grass gets muddy, and then the mud ends up tracked into the dunk tank water. The best, in my opinion, is to set it up on a white concrete sidewalk if you can. Its not too uncomfortable on bare feet, without creating a big mud puddle either.
